Hallmark Channel’s Summer Nights June 2026 movies brought some heat—with sizzling chemistry, sunny storylines, and standout performances from some of our favorite Hallmark talent.
Each movie had its own sparkle, but we are ranking each one from lowest to highest on our favorites list (no shade—these are all a fun summer watch).

#4: A Castle of Our Own
Brennan Elliott has been a Hallmark staple for more than 10 years, but following the death of his wife and lack of offers from Hallmark, fans have been missing him!
Fans sighed with relief when the beloved star marked his return to Hallmark with "A Castle of Our Own" playing opposite Erica Cerra.
Elliott does not disappoint. He plays a contractor who is charming, romantic, playful, and upbeat.
The plot of the movie is a little slow and cliché. Cerra plays an overworked architect trying to reconnect with her daughter on a vacation where they enter a sandcastle contest to compete for a $5K reward. Naturally, Cerra's character pines to design houses rather than strip malls, so it includes the standard trope of quitting her job to pursue her dreams.
The most unbelievable part of the story is the close relationship Cerra's character retains with her ex-husband and his new wife. While it works for the plot of the movie, it's a unicorn situation for most viewers who have been through a divorce.
While "A Castle of our Own" is an enjoyable watch, it lands at the bottom of our list.
#3: Texas Two-Step
Brendan Penny in a cowboy hat set the mood to "swoony" from the start of "Texas Two Step."
This movie is arguably one of his best, and the same can be said of Heather Hemmens. This movie has tons of sizzle--and not from the Texas BBQ!
The plot tension keeps things interesting. Olivia and Luke have a past together, and there's no denying their connection, especially when they dance together. A brief love triangle adds the perfect amount of spice to keep things interesting.
Aunt Ruby, played by BJ Harrison, adds fun character to the story, another love story unfolds as a subplot, and even if you don't like country music, the movie includes great tracks that will keep your toes tapping!
The movie doesn't exactly live up to the title because there is VERY LITTLE Texas two-stepping, but the undeniable magnetism between Olivia and Luke makes up for it, earning it third place on our list.
#2: The Greek Aisle
When Nikki DeLoach is involved, you know the movie is going to be filled with heart!
Set on location in Greece, the scenery alone is breathtaking, but there's much more substance to "The Greek Aisle" than simply gorgeous backdrops--and a super handsome co-star WITH AN ACCENT.
Georgia has known Alex since childhood, having stayed with her aunt, so it makes their romance organic. When they have to fake a marriage to deal with their co-inheritance situation, it naturally morphs into something real. There are humorous moments as well as touchingly raw conversations, and their connection and charisma feels genuine.
The movie emphasizes that the best marriages happen when spouses fully support each other's dreams, and this theme threads through the entire storyline. Local lore plays a unique part in rebranding their marriage as the real deal by the end (no spoilers here), and it's a sweet touch to a fabulous movie.
Excellent acting, amazing chemistry, an alluring setting, combined with a heartfelt plot place this movie solidly near the top of our favorites list.
#1: The Love Heist
"The Love Heist" grabs the viewer's attention from the beginning and holds it until the very end.
The story is unique, which is a rarity in the romcom trope universe, and it's the perfectly crafted caper that blends romance, style, mystery, and heart.
Kayli is a highly skilled stylist who isn't afraid to let her vulnerabilities to show, and her resourcefulness is impressive.
Mills plays a strong, male hero who vows to be the protector who keeps Kayli safe. Hallmark has shied away from Alpha male characters for fear of making women look less independent, but this return to LETTING MEN BE MEN is refreshing--Kayli is no less strong. It's about time! I hope this trend continues. There are a lot of us ladies out here who still want movies to reflect the fairytale--where the strong and handsome male protector and provider whisks the damsel off into the sunset. Feminists ruined this for us by always wanting men to look "optional" in movies while their careers replaced marriage and motherhood. Screw the feminists and give us back our heroes and knights in shining armor!
Even the "interrupted kiss" receives a makeover in this movie. As Kayli teaches Mills to dance, it leads to a romantic moment, which is ruined (naturally). Rather than letting the occasion pass, Mills grabs Kayli back into his arms, vowing that he isn't allowing an interruption to stop him. Now THAT'S the type of masculinity that needs to make a triumphant return to entertainment--masculinity is NOT "toxic," and whoever coined that phrase probably could never land a real man. Admittedly, it's surprising that Peter Porte is the one tasked with this traditional display of masculinity, since he is married to another man in real life, but he has a commanding onscreen presence.
Lyndsy Fonseca and Porte are on FIRE in this movie! They sizzle without being inappropriate (after all, it's Hallmark), and the story is original and engaging.
Not only does "The Love Heist" take the number one spot on my list of "Summer Nights" Hallmark Channel movies, it's also one of my favorites so far in 2026! Let's hope it will release to DVD!
